Personal data we process

Abuco B.V. (hereinafter referred to as Abuco.nl) processes personal data when you use our services and/or when you provide these personal data to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

Why we need this personal data

Contact
When you send an email, fill out a contact form, or contact us in any other way, we will use the messages to respond to your request or inquiry. We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary for this contact or for a maximum of 2 years after our last contact with you.

Service Provision
To provide our services, we use your name, company details, and (business) contact details. We need this data to maintain contact with you, deliver the service, and for our fiscal retention obligation. We retain this data for a maximum of 5 years after we last provided a service, or up to 7 years in the context of our fiscal retention obligation.

For the execution of our services, we also use personal data from your end customers and employees. With regard to this personal data, we act as a processor. This is because we process this data only on your behalf and will not use this personal data for our own purposes. We only use the aggregated data to improve our service provision. This means that you need to inform these individuals properly about the purposes for which you use their personal data.

References and Projects
With your consent, we use visual material on Abuco.nl, for example for references or in our Projects overview. We retain this information for the duration that it is relevant for our service provision, or until you withdraw your consent for its use.

Newsletter
We send out a monthly newsletter to our clients via Mailchimp. After obtaining consent, we add you to our list in Mailchimp with your email address and name. You can unsubscribe from this newsletter via a link at the bottom of the email or by contacting us.

Sharing with Others
Abuco.nl shares your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement and to comply with any legal obligation. Or if you have given your consent. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a data processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Abuco.nl remains responsible for these processing activities.

  • Leadinfo: keeps track of which companies visit our website based on the IP address.
  • IT service providers, including our hosting party

Security
Abuco.nl takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification. If you believe that your data is not properly secured or if there are indications of abuse, please contact our customer service or via info@abuco.nl. Abuco.nl has taken the following measures to secure your personal data:

  • Security software, such as antivirus and firewall.
  • TLS (formerly SSL) We send your data via a secure internet connection. You can recognize this by the address bar starting with ‘https’ and the padlock icon in the address bar.
  • DKIM, SPF, and DMARC are three internet standards that we use to prevent you from receiving emails from us that contain viruses, are spam, or are intended to obtain personal (login) information.
  • DNSSEC is an additional security (in addition to DNS) for converting a domain name to the associated IP address (server name); it is provided with a digital signature. You can have that signature checked automatically. This way, we prevent you from being redirected to a false IP address.
